Our Firm

In 1994, former law school classmates W. Randall Ackerman and Michael T. Savage founded Ackerman & Savage, L.L.P. Their goal was to provide fair, competent, and reasonably priced legal representation to members of the Dallas/Fort Worth community. Initially, the firm focused exclusively on criminal litigation. Shortly after its inception, however, Ackerman & Savage, L.L.P. expanded its practice to include general civil litigation as well as small business consultation. Today, the firm handles complex litigation in both criminal and civil matters.

Commercial Litigation

Over the years, Ackerman & Savage, L.L.P. has represented numerous individual and business litigants, both as plaintiffs and defendants, in a variety of civil matters related to collections, contract disputes, commercial leases, employment matters (including wrongful termination), deceptive trade practices, commercial fraud, conspiracy, sequestration, garnishment, attachment, restraining orders, and injunctions.
